I recently received an e-mail from TD Canada Trust. The e-mail tells me that there has been an account alert. The only problem is I'm 16 and I haven't set up an account with TD Canada Trust and have no interest to.
The e-mail states as follows:
This e-mail has been sent to you by TD Canada Trust inform you that we were unable to verify your account details.
This might be due to either of the following reasons:
1. Submitting incorrect information during register process.
2. A recent change in your personal information. (eg: address, phone)
Due to this, to ensure that your Easy WEB service is not interrupted, we request you to confirm and update
your information today by following the link below...
My computer says that the site is unsafe. The link is for radiosense.net, which I've never heard of. I'm very confused because I've never done any kind of banking, had any kind of credit card, etc. I really don't want one. Should I be concerned that my identity might have been stolen? I don't know if that is a stupid question, but I really don't know about any of this. Is it possible that its just an internet scheme, or TD Canada Trust trying to sway me into creating an account? Please help!
